I am a Montgomery County, Maryland native and a graduate of Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School in Washington, DC. In 2003, I received my Bachelor of Science and Arts with a double-major in International Affairs and Spanish and a minor in Latin American Studies from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. At Xavier, I was a volunteer English as a Second Language (ESL) instructor with the Cincinnati Public Schools and a Spanish teacher at the Xavier University Montessori School. As a senior at Xavier, I was awarded the Peter J. Buschmann, S.J. Scholarship for Public Service and was inducted into the Sigma Delta Pi, National Collegiate Spanish Honor Society.

I received my J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 2006. During law school, I served as the Treasurer of the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity and was a founding member of the National Lawyer’s Guild (Cleveland-Marshall Chapter). My passion for the defense of civil rights led me to become a Legal Observer for several demonstrations and I taught “Street Law Clinics” educating citizens of their Constitutional rights. I was a student practitioner with the Cleveland-Marshall Community Advocacy Clinic, which focused on redevelopment of blighted urban areas of Cleveland, Ohio. In 2006, I was awarded the Student Public Interest Law Organization’s Scholarship for Outstanding Service to the Community.

I joined Andalman & Flynn in 2006 as a Law Clerk and later as an Associate in 2007. Since that time, my practice has focused on three primary areas of law:

  • DOMESTIC RELATIONS: all issues separation and divorce (including child custody, visitation, child support enforcement and modification, alimony/spousal support); domestic violence (peace and protective orders); adoptions (international, private and/or agency); and guardianships.
  • CIVIL: business disputes, enforcement of contractual agreements, collection of debts owed to businesses and individuals, personal injury and property damage claims.
  • ESTATES AND PROBATE: preparation of Last Wills, Powers of Attorney, Health Care Advance Directives (commonly referred to as “living wills”), and trusts; estate administration; contested estate litigation.
